Birds in Myanmar

This was not a full-time birding trip, my teaching mission for the Wetland Ecology Training Course in Mekong Basin, however I was luckily to stay at the Yezin Agricultural University Guesthouse where surrounded by wood-trees and good habitat for 2 endemics, the Burmese Bushlark and White-throated Babbler. I also had a chance to visit Inle lake where all participants took their field practices/research on wetlands. Here and on the traveling ways, I gain more lifers which were including White-throated Laughingthrus, Blue-throated Barbet, Grey Sibia and especially Jerdon's Bushchat.

Red-vented Bulbul - a common species throughout Myanmar
White-throated Babbler - the endemic but very common around YAU campus
Burmese Bushlark - also very common around YAU campus
Yellow-eyed Babbler - seen on the way to Inle lake
Grey-breasted Prinia
White-browed Laughingthrush
